We love that our girls are learning how to live a self-sustainable life and know where their food comes from and how to prepare it. They are learning how to grow a variety of produce and how to preserve it. They are learning how to care for animals, animal husbandry practices, and to be good stewards of the land. We feel that is important to show them how it works, start to finish.

On top of everything else that we do, we also homeschool our girls and use the Five Marys Farms M5 Ranch School program as an extracurricular. We love it because it goes right along with what we are already doing at home. They have awesome lessons, informational videos and work sheets that we can easily incorporate into each subject. Plus, we as the adults are always learning something new too!

We started using the Abeka homeschool curriculum in 2021 and our girls are thriving. It is a fully credentialed school that is biblically based which is extremely important to our family.
