Thermometers (102.5-104*F.)
20-22 gauge needles in both 1cc and 3cc syringe sizes.
CDT.
Bo-Se.
ProBios.
Vitamin E gel.
Vitamin B Complex 2.5cc / 50lbs sub Q.
Antibiotics: Penicillin or LA-200 sub Q
Tetanus Antitoxin 0.5cc sub Q or C&D Antitoxin
Pain Management: Banamine or Children's Ibuprofen
Coccidia Meds: Baycox/ Toltrazuril for piglets and cattle OR Albon but NO CORID FOR GOATS.
Draxxon or Nuflor for treating Pneumonia.
Poison Treatment: Activated Charcoal and Milk of Magnesia.
Vet wrap.
Wound and skin care: Vetericyn or Blue Kote.
Urinary Calculi Prevention/ Treatment: Apple Cider Vinegar and Ammonium Chloride.
10cc Drench gun.
Electrolytes: Blue Lite to add to water or
2.5 qts water
4 TBS sugar
2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp baking soda
NUTRIDRENCH for calcium/ slow labor, weak contractions, sluggish mama.
Oxytocin for retained placenta or bringing doe into milk if no fever.
Iodine for dipping umbilical cords.
Bulb syringe.
Lubrication & gloves.
Molasses to give doe after kidding with warm water.
Shallow water bucket to prevent kids from drowning.
Karo syrup to give energy boost to new kids.
EXTRAS
Heat lamp & bulbs (make sure they work prior.)
Shavings & or straw.
Small draft-free kidding stall/ playpen & tarp for in garage if needed.
Lamb/kid puller.
Towels.
Paper towels.
Twine (for hanging heat lamp, flashlight or going in & grabbing goat kids if needed.)
Flashlight.
Dental floss.
Scissors.
Bottle & Pritchard nipples (cut vertical, not horizontal.)
Disbudding iron if necessary (~$16 for our vet to do.)
Bander & bands.
Tattoo gun & green ink.
Scrapies tags (call USDA (916)854-3900 to order. Must have to sell in CA.)
